It just wasn’t a memorable read for me.Interior Book Design By: Integrity Formatting

So I guess if you’re into love/life stories check this one out, but if you are like me & don’t really enjoy these type of mishmash romance novels then I suggest you pass this one. There was a lot going on & maybe that’s why I just couldn’t really relate to the main characters & focus on their love story. This book was like a mishmash of a romance, sibling relationship, life after loss & family healing story. Ryan is gay & throughout the story we see his struggles with not wanting to come out since his mom is a very religious woman. The story also follows Hailey & Ryan which are Ashlyn’s siblings. They had a sort of connection & when they meet again they discover that Daniel is Ashlyn’s teacher. She is sent to live with her dad who she doesn’t have much contact with & during her train ride she meets Daniel. The story is about Ashlyn who is a 19 year old girl who has lost her twin sister to cancer. It was also a bit of a life story as well. So this story was really much more than a student/teacher romance. It was laughter.Īnd for those reasons alone, I would never apologize for loving Mr. Our love story wasn’t only about the physical connection. Daniels, but sometimes life happens at the wrong time for all the right reasons. When I started senior year at my new school, I wasn’t prepared to call him Mr. I had no idea that my happiness would remember its own bliss. I had no clue that his voice would make my hurts forget their own sorrow. I didn’t plan to stumble into Joe’s bar and have Daniel’s music stir up my emotions.

When I arrived to Edgewood, Wisconsin I didn’t plan to find him.

It was easy to call us forbidden and harder to call us soulmates. The great reviews & the blurb that was in form of a letter was what made me read it. There’s just something about it that doesn’t really make me empathize with the characters. As you may know I am a big fan of forbidden romances but the student/teacher thing really irritates me. It was very similar to Slammed by Colleen Hoover & that book didn’t do it for me either.

I have never been a fan of student/teacher romances but since this book was getting so many great reviews I went on & read it.
